This is correct! Ladders are confusing at first but now you know how to read them. Have fun and let me know how everything goes.

Thanks. What I can tell you is that the DKCJ conditioning from March 2024 is brutal - I'll leave my feedback on that page...

Sounds great brother! I’ll look up which program you’re referring to.

Hi John and thank you for offering this month of free training as it's your birthday month!

Training Session A / A1. MED Kettlebell Chains A / Double Kettlebell Clean + Press + Squat

How do the ladders work please? E.g. heavy is it 3 x rounds of 1 + 2 + 3 reps e.g. 1 + 1 + 1 / 2 + 2 + 2 / 3 + 3 + 3 = rest as required?

No. Clean + Press + Squat with 3 Ladders of 1, 2, 3 rungs means this:

First Rung: Clean + Press + Squat

Second Rung: Clean + Press + Squat + Clean + Press + Squat

Third Rung: Clean + Press + Squat + Clean + Press + Squat + Clean + Press + Squat

Then repeat the ladder two more times.

If there is a number after the ladder in parenthesis (ie; 3), you'd do an extra set of

Clean + Press + Squat + Clean + Press + Squat + Clean + Press + Squat

OK I think I've got. There is no number after the ladder on this MED chain though?

Medium weight would be:

First rung: 2 unbroken rounds of Clean + Press + Squat

Rest as required / fast loose

Second: 3 unbroken rounds of Clean + Press + Squat

Rest as required / fast loose

Third: 5 unbroken rounds of Clean + Press + Squat

Rest as required / fast loose

Repeat 2 x more times?
